Short story: Don't buy anything from them, it's borderline a scam. Long story: I made an order, received no information about shipping. I contacted them and they had no idea what was happening with their shipments. When the parcel finally arrived out of the blue, an item was missing. I informed them on the same thread that the order I received was incomplete providing pictures with the label on the parcel which clearly stated that it contained 3 items instead of 4, no response. After a week of waiting for an answer I tried to contact them again by making a new form on their site. More than a week has passed once again, no answer. They basically stole 20 pounds from me.

I placed an order on the 19th of October 2021. It is now the 10th November and I have still not received my book or a refund. It took sending 3 emails to finally get a response from Katie at Chiltern Publishing. When Katie responded she ignored my request for a refund but instead sent out another book. I stated in all three emails that I wanted a refund as the book was a gift and it was far too late now. In a reply Katie stated that a refund would be fine to organise but only once the second book was collected. This second book still hasn’t shown up so I’m once more without refund or book (the later of which I didn’t ask for). How is this company allowed to operate? For anyone that wants lovely looking books (that arrive) and great service may I suggest Penguin Classics instead of this publisher. What a waste of space, and thief Chiltern Publishing is.
