Our rental rates vary depending on the size of the boat and the duration of the rental. Rates start at £640 for a weekend rental and go up to £1,900 for a week-long rental. We also offer mid-week and mid-month rental options. Rates are calculated based on the time of year and availability.Do you provide safety equipment and instructions for using the boat?
Yes, we provide all necessary safety equipment and instructions for using the boat. Our team will give you a detailed briefing on the safety features of the boat and how to operate it before you set off on your trip.What is your policy regarding cancellation and refunds?
We require a deposit of 25% of the rental fee to secure your booking. If you need to cancel your booking, we offer a refund minus a £50 administration fee if you cancel more than 8 weeks in advance. We had a fantastic long weekend on the wonderful 2 berth boat. From the moment we booked we were well looked after. The communication prior to the trip was fantastic with recommendations on what to bring, routes and things to do. Corinne and Gareth were brilliant in showing us the ropes and if you've never done this before fear not, the tuition was comprehensive and hands on, there's a lock at the marina to practice on so we felt very confident in setting off on our own. Two routes are recommended, we took the Berkhamsted route taking you through 7 locks - so a total of 14! The route is beautiful for scenery and wildlife and Berkhamsted town is well worth visiting for restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques and you moor next to a Waitrose so stocking up is easy. The boat is well equipped and a full-size fridge is an absolute bonus! All in all a wonderful trip and we can't recommend it highly enough.

We have just had a wonderful short break on mini-escape the training was very good and gave us confidence as first timers. The boat is comfortable and very well equipped. There was a very high standard of service and customer care. As one who doesn't book online it was very easy to book by phone. The boat has an excellent multi fuel stove, an easy to use excellent quality gas cooker.

We had a wonderful 4 days on Narrow Escape. There were only 3 of us so had plenty of space but not sure if there were 5 people how cramped it might feel. The boat is very well equipped and Gareth and Corrine were always on hand to iron out any problems. Spending quality time along a very pretty stretch of canal in the sunshine was great with the added bonus of a few locks and pubs along the way.

Romantically fitted-out boat ideal for couples. Excellent communication and tuition before setting off. Flexible with non-standard requests (e.g. late check out) and, all in all, a wonderful experience exploring the canals, doing the locks, enjoying the outdoors and pub cuisine along the way!

We had a trip on Mini Escape, the dinky two berth. We were complete newbie’s, but had excellent training from Corrine. We had three lovely nights and great breakfast provided for us. Highly recommended. Even though the locks up to Marsworth exhausted me 😂.

First time my sister and I had been anywhere near a canal-boat, but something we had always wanted to experience. The owners Corinne and Gareth provided a thorough introduction to our boat - 'Narrow Escape' and imparted clear practical guidance in its handling and the operation of locks. This provided us with the necessary confidence to 'set sail'! An excellent boat, comfortable with all of the facilities you needed. Everything in previous reviews was supported by the really enjoyable three nights we experienced. Great fun and with our new found experience we will be back for more!
