A really beautiful hotel with a huge well maintained. Well kept grounds. Truly a pleasure to visit. Serviced is excellent and so is the restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner are worth going to. Rooms are comfortable clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location to host a wedding in the summer. Especially one that's fully covered for by the bride and groom! Ha ha Beautiful surroundings! Fantastic service and very friendly and helpful staff! The food was delicious and the rooms were large and comfortable.

A lovely secluded quiet spacious location. Lots of areas to sit and relax. The afternoon tea was lovely, although the savoury should be much bigger, three finger sandwiches for an adult are not enough. I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone but we were able to have more free of charge so not too bad.. The staff were all so friendly. The grounds are amazing. We will definitely be coming back again.

We found quite a few issues with the place and I hope the management takes this feedback and do something about it. Our experience was not great, experience was actually not worth the money. We were disappointed. There are some obvious issues: - staff is inexperienced and when they speak to guests their tone of voice and execution is impolite - we could not get a breakfast before 6.30 AM as we had a long journey ahead of us; we asked three different people at the reception and all said that this is possible only after the cook arrives. They did not even bother to ask what that would be. For me, this would be porridge which I can make in the room and some fruit. Only after talking to the 4th reception person on to day of departure we have been offered fruit. 🤦♂️I mean we paid a premium price of £275 for a room per night and did not even get a breakfast which should have been included. We asked for a refund of the breakfast and it was not possible. Utterly felt RIPPED OFF 😤 - portions at the dinner were solid, but the side dishes were a joke. If you write on a menu that potatoes, carrots etc are part of the meal, you cannot give me 5 micro slices of potatoes and 1/2 skinny finger of a carrot. Please improve this because your meal is not nutrious enough for medical reasons it is not fit for purpose! - the bathroom in Longfellow room is a death trap as it has slippery floors. The room smelled stale. - photos of the Manor house were representing the house much bigger than it is in reality, so not oversell and underdeliver In the positive, the grounds were beautiful. We cannot say we will come back as this was not great experience and worth the value unfortunately.

We only went for dinner so no comments on rooms, the building was outstanding though and the views to the well kept gardens from our table was outstanding - you can tell they put effort into maintenance. Food & drinks: Food was great - octopus 10/10 - lamb I woke up wanting it for breakfast, it was really good. The staff and service - they couldn't do better. Cant wait to go back - even though we live 45 mins away next time we are booking a room as well.

A fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting. This hotel is often used as a wedding venue and it's perfect for that. The rooms are great, the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We want to go back again soon because we enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

Really lovely hotel and countryside venue. I visited to try their afternoon tea with family as we were celebrating a birthday. The food was really good and the staff were very professional and friendly. I cant comment on the rooms sadly as didn't stay, but would recommend based on the food and excellent service.
