I can't speak highly enough of Randa and her team at Children's House. Both my children, now 11 and 7, thrived under her guidance and still enjoy visiting to say hello. Randa picked up on my now 7 year old daughter's autism at the age of 4 and we made an NHS referral. Her Primary School have had no concerns with her behaviours or picked up any issues. We had our concerns, but were not overly worried, so decided to wait for the NHS assessment We finally had the NHS autism assessment this weekend and were told that our daughter has high functioning autism. Obviously, no parent wants to hear this news for their child, but now we are in a position to help going forwards in her personal and school life. Without Randa, we would not have put our daughter forward for an assessment and I'm sure our daughter's life will be easier due to this early diagnosis.

Our daughter started at Children’s House in the middle of a term, after we moved into the area. She had never attended a nursery or preschool setting before this and we were worried about how she would fit in with children that had already had time to build relationships and were familiar with the setting. From our very first visit our minds were put at rest. Randa and the team are so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable and our daughter quickly adapted with their patience and guidance. Daily activities are varied and with a child led approach, the children can explore different opportunities at their own pace. Our daughter has most enjoyed Forest School and this is a huge asset to their learning. We haven’t heard of any other local preschool or nursery that offers such a wide variety of experiences available. The confidence our daughter has developed since attending Children’s House is immeasurable and it is so reassuring to see her happily walking through the school gate each day. We only wish that she didn’t have to move to Big School in September and could stay here forever.

Our daughter attended Children’s House for 2years and couldn’t have had a better start to her learning journey. The fantastic, caring and nurturing staff, lead by Randa, create a wonderfully calm and supportive atmosphere. The children feel safe to learn and independently choose topics, at their own pace. This was my first introduction to the Montessori ethos, which is passionately observed at Children’s House and I must say has irrefutable results. I only wish that my daughter could have stayed for longer and there were more schools available offering such an incredible learning environment.

Our Son attended Children’s House, where we watched him grow, develop and flourish. From Phonics, French and First Aid, to learning and understanding his Rights; he amazes us with the knowledge, wisdom and empathy that he has gained. Children's house is such a wonderful and unique setting; each child’s needs are met with such depth of understanding from each of the team. I can't recommend, or thank Children's House enough, they have given my son the absolute perfect and exemplary start to his educational journey. I look forward to sending my younger son here too.

Our boy attended CH for 3 years and we can’t recommend a better preschool. Our boy received an exceptional teaching of values and skills for life such as respect for oneself, for the others and the planet, being creative, being resilient and critical just to name a few. He could experience a wide range of lessons: Forest school, cooking, science, yoga and languages such as Spanish and French. We firmly believe he received the best foundation thanks to the whole team of CH and in particular to Randa who is a truly Montessori passionate teacher. Looking forward to starting this amazing journey with our second child.

My son started at Children’s House shortly after his second birthday and leaves this month as a confident, inquisitive and rights-respecting (nearly) 4 year old ready to start Primary school. We are so pleased that we chose CH to begin his educational journey and do not know of any other preschool that offers such fantastic opportunities - Forest school, Science, Yoga, French to name a few. We are looking forward to sending our twin boys there next year! Thank you Randa and the team x

Our daughter has just completed a year with the Childrens House and we are thrilled with how confident, independent and caring a little girl she has grown to be during her time there. I am amazed at how much they manage to achieve in a day let alone a year! She has always run in and out with a huge smile on her face and she has learned skills that will lead her not only into school but far beyond this too. We would like to thank Randa and all the team for their total dedication to our daughter. Randa often says thank you for entrusting her and the team with our greatest assets, our children but we would like to thank YOU! We will miss you and will hopefully be back one day in the not too distant future!

Children’s House Montessori have given our daughter a tremendous love for learning. She comes out of every session full of all the wonderful things she has done and learnt. The science lessons are a particular favourite and the lesson on planets will never be forgotten. Hearing your 4 your old tell the wider family when looking at the sky “there are stars up there and some are planets and they make constellations”, was something rather special! When asked what planets she knows she replied, “Venus, Saturn, Earth and Pluto, but Pluto is now called a dwarf planet because it’s smaller.” Thank you Randa and your amazing team for giving our daughter such a wonderful start to school life; we will miss you so much as we head off to Primary school in September.

My daughter has attended Children's House for just over a year and my only regret is that she didn't start sooner. The transformation in her is beyond our expectations. She has gained so much confidence and knowledge and we really feel so thankful to Randa and her wonderful team- they are all extremely caring and knowledgeable. I am quite astounded when she tells me about her day, what she has learnt and her new French words. Children's house is such a unique setting with such a depth of activities and learning resources which would be very hard/impossible to beat. My daughter absolutely loves coming to school, and as parents there is nothing more that you want in seeing your child happy and thriving. I can't recommend or thank Children's House enough, they have given my daughter the absolute perfect start to her school years, and I look forward to sending my younger daughter here too.

All lessons conducted at this beautiful school are tailored using learners interest, Strengths and needs which is a great tool for children's education and development. Strengths based approach and person centred approach which they use to nurture children under their care is amazing. For example, I recently noticed that lessons about 'the rights respecting cards session' has inspired our son to be a Doctor. He is now saying that when he grow up he wants to be a Doctor (we are so very proud- Doctor in the making ). In the past, our son used to say that he dislike doctors because they give medication, however, of lately, since last session where he learnt about doctors, he is now saying when he grow up he wants to be a Doctor; and that he loves Doctors because they make people feel better. This is amazing how the sessions at the Children's House Montessori Forest school shapes young people into caring humans with great respect for human life. Kudos to all the practitioners at this beautiful school for brilliant work, we appreciate all their enthusiasm and patience in supporting our son to be such an honest, mature and level headed boy full of kindness, caring and respect for everyone around him and those he meet in society. Our family can't thank all the practitioners at Children's House Montessori Forest school enough; and will not hesitate to recommend this beautiful school full of hard-working practitioners to anyone who wants his/her child/children to acquire life skills and knowledge. You are the best above the rest. We thank you.
