This is a spacious venue with many ready to hire features offered such as napkins, table cloths and chair covers as for weddings. The main hall has hardwood flooring and the high ceilings giving it a real feeling of vast space. The windows and doors to the patio that face you as you enter the main hall give a dazzling light and with the doors open bring the outside in. Spacious, bright and airy! The large kitchen has a convenient serving hatch into the main hall. Lots of work surfaces. There is a catering size cooker with double doors on the oven allowing large catering pans of food to be cooked or reheated. There is a boiling water dispenser and a plate warmer cupboard as well as a rapid dishwasher (2 or 3 minute cycles), abundant plates, crockery, glasses, serving plates and cutlery. Fold away tables and chairs and much more. There is a sound system. A separate carpeted room, The Durnford Room, is smaller and carpeted and has its own hatch so is useful as a separate bar area or as a smaller cosier hire venue. The ladies, gents and disabled toilets are well maintained. The garden is accessible through the main hall and has a large patio. It overlooks fields. Plenty of car parking outside the village hall. There are some covid restrictions at the moment in terms of what is available to hire eg fabric items and covid safeguarding is also in place for cleanliness. Best to discuss your needs. Highly recommend.
