My husband and I do many of our main shops at Chilbolton Village Stores, and always receive fabulous customer service and great quality fresh food. They sell everything you need and are happy to take requests. They also provide Post Office services. In times of need they are always there for people in the community and become a hub for local information and support. They even do a brilliant cooked breakfast which we have enjoyed several times on the weekends. It is a great place to sit with a coffee and freshly baked patisserie and meet locals and visitors passing by. So, why not support this lovely local shop, instead of using the big chains? Five stars don’t even do it justice!

the lady at the till (I believe she was the owner) was beyond lovely and allowed me to use the toilet as I was in an area I don’t know. She also sold some brilliant, fresh sandwiches and bakes at a reasonable price which I couldn’t resist to have for my lunch. Cannot fault her customer service one bit, 5 star!

Arranged by phone to pick up bacon and egg baps for four of us about to fish for pike on the fly on a frosty Saturday morning at Testcombe Cottage. They were superb as were the friendly team at the shop and completely validated the decision to breakfast locally rather than at the bland chain offerings on the A303. Well stocked and very beautiful village store opposite the village pub in Chilbolton.

Really good little shop store and tea room in the middle of the picturesque village of chilbolton deep in the test valley. Friendly staff and really good service. The area itself is nice with fantastic walks with the wonderful river test nearby with its bridges, path ways and wildlife.
