We are so happy we went with Chi Chi bites as our caterer. The whole experience with Miranda was so personal, we didn't just pick meals from a list, we chatted on zoom and just started with "so what kind of food do you like the idea of?" And we created our menu from there. That was what really loved, it felt like a really creative process that we were all excited about. We went for a Moroccan theme and had a gorgeous sharing menu with huge shoulders of lamb and colourful salads, bowls of jewelled cous cous, tasty tagines and mountains crusty bread. And that was just the main! Wonderful canapes we're served during our drinks reception and delicate lemon tarts for dessert. Then we liked the idea of sourdough cheese toasties for evening food so Miranda said she could absolutely do that (and they went down a treat!) It really felt like we worked together to come up with a menu that was exactly what we fancied. All the guests were really blown away by the food. The service on the day was incredibly professional, all the servers were wonderful. Food was plentiful and presented really well. Communication with Miranda was great throughout. All dietary requirements were also handled with ease and those guests well looked after on the day. Our tasting menu at Miranda's home was a really enjoyable occasion she cooked a full sharing menu for a table of 10 so we could see how it would look on the day and we brought a cool bag with us and feasted on the leftover for several days afterwards! We really can't thank Chi Chi bites enough and would highly recommend them to anyone! Rachel & Peter

I Booked ChiChi Bites for my 21st in June 2022 and they were so amazing made my event perfect in every way. I wanted a summer BBQ with cocktails and it was perfect in every way we was in Constant communication before the event and they always come with new ideas. All of the food provided was lovely fresh and cooked to perfection. The they literally arranged everything for the food. I didn't have to worry about it at all. All the staff were friendly and so nice I wanted a barman at my party although it was bring your own drinks I wanted him so to sort everybody out when they wanted to drink if that was with ice or a cocktail that I was providing or the soft drinks that I also provided or if they just wanted a simple glass of water. I didn't want to have to keep telling people that they was OK or helping them find everything. I wanted to be talking and socialising with my friends and family the barman was fantastic and sorted everyone out and the cocktails were fantastic too. I can't recommend ChiChi Bites enough they were so amazing if you have a party of any kind and need catering these are the people for you she was so helpful and had so many ideas and so friendly. They even help clean up at the end! truly amazing.

Miranda provided Sushi making workshops as part of our Festival of Japanese Culture. She is absolutely wonderful. So accommodating from start to finish, working with us to work out the best approach to the workshops and helping us to fit our budget. Her workshops were the first to sell out and everybody raved about them! This was a participant's comment. 'Yes really fun and cool experience. Miranda and her team catered for my husband’s 50th birthday party with delicious paella and pulled pork brioche buns. The food was so tasty and her whole operation from planning, set up, cooking on the pans in the garden and clear up was seamless. If you need a professional and friendly caterer that enables you to just relax and really enjoy your party Miranda is most definitely your girl!

We were gifted a sushi making experience with Miranda. And we loved it! Given the COVID situation, it made it difficult to set a date for the experience, but Miranda was very flexible and adaptable with how, where and when we could do this experience. The environment we had the experience in was very spacious and clean. Miranda has adapted the room well to suit the government guidelines for COVID, as well as screens being put in place, hand sanitizer, face guards and PPE were all provided. The room had everything required to a pleasant experience. We felt safe and engaged all throughout the session. It was clear that Miranda is passionate about the art of sushi making and enjoyed teaching it, this made the experience very enjoyable. The experience of making the sushi was wonderful as there was plenty to do with great quality resources available. Miranda gave plenty of advice and ideas on how we could go about making our own at home. Also the style of which she taught us in was very calm and smooth, very encouraging, we watched her prep one and then went onto practice what we learnt. We went away from this experience very happy with our big box of various versions of sushi and a jar of pickled ginger, which all tasted great.

The course was extremely well taught and Miranda worked really well to keep our children, who have the attention span of a goldfish, engaged. For the picnic lunch Miranda catered to all of our dietary requirements providing a delicious meal that all of us could eat.

I first came across Miranda and ChiChi Bites when Miranda presented her concept at a networking meeting I was attending. My wedding anniversary was a couple of months away, and I was on the lookout for a gift that the two of us would be able to enjoy together. Miranda’s voucher for the sushi-making experience seemed absolutely perfect!! When the day finally came, Miranda arrived at our home with all the ingredients and equipment we needed for the session. We enjoyed a glass of wine whilst she got set up, and we immediately started chatting away about food experiences across the world. We’ve always loved our sushi, both the eating and the making, so we had a baseline amount of experience to start the session with. We chatted as we cooked, picking up all sorts of tips and best practice along the way. Miranda is clearly a very intuitive chef, but has the skill of explaining things in a clear and memorable way. This presentation was aided by the wonderfully fresh and exciting ingredients, including the brilliant fresh wasabi root, which was a first for both of us! We tasted as we went along, of course, whilst also preparing the most stunning spread. We’ve always enjoyed making sushi in the past, but the expert advice and hints really gave us the edge to take it up a level. We were having such a great time we barely noticed the passing time, but then it came time for Miranda to leave, and for us to eat. Stunning. Not a lot more I can say – but a truly enjoyable feast!! We’ve tried out what we’ve learnt a couple of times since our lesson, and it’s really noticeable that we’ve made great improvements, from the cooking of the rice, to the techniques in assembly and then the final presentation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Miranda and the ChiChi Bites experience to anyone who’s keen to upgrade their culinary skills, whilst enjoying a lovely time doing so. We ordered a family lunch of sushi to celebrate a special occasion and not only did Chi Chi Bites the sushi look amazing and taste amazing but it was clearly super fresh and made from top quality ingredients. We've never had wasabi like it.There was enough for dinner too! We have previously taken the Chi Chi Bites sushi lesson which was a morning that we thoroughly enjoyed and learnt heaps...but we still prefer to have Miranda make sushi for us! if you are looking for a caterer for a special meal, big or small, then speak to Miranda at Chi Chi Bites before anyone else.
