The apartment was very conveniently located. it was clean and had everything we needed. We parked opposite the property no problem. The bed was comfortable. The best thing about the apartment is the view down the high street. Just remember to close the shutters at night otherwise you will be on full view if you get up in the middle of the night en route to the bathroom.

No 1 Chews Cottage is a very clean and comfortable apartment located just one minutes walk from Pately Bridge high street. We had a very simple check in and check out process and communication with the owner was good. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils etc if you wanted to eat in but there are also plenty of good cafes and restaurants in town - I would recommend the Old Granary and the Crown. There are great walks in the area (many starting in PB) which the owner provided information on. The apartment is on a steep hill so might be a problem for those with mobility problems. We were able to park on the street outside the property but not always directly outside. There is so much to do in the area that one weeks stay is not enough. PB is a very pretty and friendly part of the world...you will be guaranteed a warm Yorkshire welcome here. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chews Cottage.

Very tidy at "number 2" Chews Cottage, and well fitted out. Good kitchen and bathroom. Excellent location with views right down the High Street which could be straight from a postcard. The only criticism from me is that the bed in the main bedroom was too soft for my liking. But apart from that very good.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at 2 Chews Cottage, it was very clean and airy with a nice view down the high street of Pateley Bridge. The small balcony was very pleasant to sit and sup a glass of wine in the evening or on the comfy sofas indoors. We had no problem parking almost outside or very nearby. (Nice to have sharp knives for cooking with too.) We loved Knaresborough, Brimham Rocks, Harrogate, Aysgarth Falls and Harlow Carr.

Very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed apartment which was spotlessly clean. The view across to the opposite hillside is a huge bonus

Been here a couple of times now with family and both times I felt like we were the first people to stay there. Spotlessly clean. Lovely location windows overlooking the olde-worldly High Street. Strictly speaking they're apartments, but have a cottagey feel. Some outside space for a morning coffee. I feel really relaxed in Chews cottages and I have family nearby I'll certainly go again.
