Our lovely girl Scarlet recently had a four night stay in Chestergates and an operation on her neck. Simone the vet took excellent care of her as did all the staff and we are so grateful. We received a daily phone call to let us know how she was doing and when she was discharged a timetable for her meds was provided which was a massive help for me. Thank you all so much for looking after her 🐾❤️

Sadly we lost our beautiful Minnie 8 year old French bull dog. The care and support we received here was just incredible. From the reception and admin team to the nurses and vets are a credit to their profession. The worry and guilt that we had at the thought that Minnie was in discomfort and pain was unbearable and they just reassured and provided the love and attention that minnie was so used to. At this horrible time when it is never easy loosing a pet these great professional individuals made the grief and process of loosing our beautiful dog such a comforting time and gave us the time and support we needed. Thank you so much for everything and please continue to do the incredible work you done for our little Minnie-Moo

My Wilba has had surgery in on a slipped disk, the care was fantastic and the were very understanding of our situation as a family. Wilba has a bit to go before she's fully recovered but the care she has received is second to none!

Spent 7 hours diagnosing a sore throat. Thats right SEVEN hours. So obviously my puppy has just been sat in a cage there for hours and hours along with all the others. And then to charge me a fortune on top. N E V E R again.

The emergency service Medivet provided by this vet out of hours needs to be investigated. These people do not care about animals and they traumatised my whole family with the way they treated my pet and us. I do not recommend you go here or use the emergency service. If Chestergates do not want this to reflect on them they need to stop using these untrained vets. Making someone stand outside and missing their pets last moments is unforgiveable. Not to mention vets running screaming at you in front of a disabled child, i could go on but its too upsetting.
