    We ordered 2 sofas in January and after 12 weeks began asking the status with no response. We asked several times. We tried the chat feature, email, etc.Finally in May they email to say that while they have the sofas made , they won’t deliver and are going out of business. We could arrange our own international delivery (not even sure how we would go about that!) or ask our credit card company to “charge back” but I can’t tell if we will get a refund or not from the way they wrote the email. things happen and the economy is challenging so I am sorry that this is happening but they clearly knew they were not likely to fulfill our order when I enquired multiple times on the status.

    I don't know what has happened to this company, but it isn't good. In February 2018, I ordered several pieces of furniture for delivery to USA and had an excellent experience. In late January 2023, I placed another order for a matching 4-seat sofa with estimated delivery in 12 weeks. 12 weeks has come and gone, and apparently so has Chesterfields of England. "Callum" and "Franco" have long ceased responding to my emails, and the phone number on their website appears to be disconnected. I have reached out repeatedly by every means possible - email, phone, whatsapp, instagram, facebook... nothing heard. Last week, I wrote back with a summary timeline of my attempts, and promise to withdraw payment if no communication was received. After the passage of 5 business days of silence, I have no choice but to cancel payment and report the transaction as fraud. In a concerning related matter, my AMEX card number was stolen the same day that I made my initial order... I hope that was a coincidence, but at this point, who knows...

    It’s been months since I placed an order and have had no meaningful communication from the team, if not outright lies and misleading/misinformation. It feels very much like a scam. Horrible customer service IF a real company. I’ll be contacting my credit union to get my money back from this dumpster fire of a company.

    Lying liars. Ordered two chairs in October, ETA January. Since then it's been promise after promise. The chairs were allegedly readyo ship two months ago. It would take up to 4 emails for them to respond ONCE. I called during their business hours, and was never able to speak to anyone. Finally, they fobbed me off onto the logistics company, and then you have to provide your SSN for import, which was apparently totally unnecessary since they shipped NOTHING. Well, these cvnts lied to them too, because today the logistics company said they have no record of anything being loaded to any vessel. Lie after lie after lie from this company. I'm a cancer patient, so being 5 months late is a big deal. That could be the rest of my life. Well, strap in, because I am sending Chase Bank after you first thing on Monday, and I am getting every cent back. I am going to yank it right out of you, then blast you on TrustPilot as well. Then I'm going after every social media page you have.

    We ordered a sofa in November 2021. The expected delivery date was mid-March 2022. By end of March we had not heard anything, so we asked for an update via email. Ten days later (after one reminder) the company wrote back that there were some delays due to Brexit. I asked for an estimated delivery date. After two reminders they finally wrote back that the sofa would be leave the factory on 10th May and that shipping usually takes 10 days, i.e. the sofa should arrive around 20th May. A few days later I asked for confirmation that the sofa was indeed picked up as planned. After three reminders they responded that the sofa was now due to leave the factory on 17th June. At the end of June they told me that the sofa had not yet been shipped. I asked for an updated delivery date, but they did not reply to this or to my reminders. On 18th July I ran out of patience and wrote them to cancel the order and ask for a full refund. Then, finally, on 26th July the sofa was finally delivered without prior warning. Luckily we were home to receive it. But … the sofa was delivered with the wrong kind of legs. According to all the pictures on their website, this model comes with long legs with little wheels on, but our sofa had very short legs. A very obvious error. I sent them yet another email and after just one reminder they promised to send a replacement set of legs. However, it took two months, 20 emails, 10 phone calls and lots of broken promises before the replacement legs were finally delivered. The four legs were not even identical – one had a slightly different design. But at that point I had given up. The company's phone number is redirected to a third-party call center. Their agents are friendly but unable to answer questions about my order. They can only pass on a message to the factory. The factory never returned any of my calls. I have no idea why they act in this way. At one point I had more or less accepted that this was a complete scam and that my money was lost. Perhaps they are on the verge of bankruptcy, or perhaps they are just utterly incompetent. In any case, I would strongly advice against doing any kind of business with Chesterfields of England. Oh, apart from the wrong legs, the quality of the sofa is actually very nice. But I am sure you can get a similar product from a different company.

All'ordine ho contattato il Sig, Franco Sotgiu credo sia il propietario che mi ha fatto pagare 1000 euro con carta e 500 euro sul suo conto privato, al momento dell'acquisto per fare soldi tutti disponibili poi successivamente tutti sono spariti. Pessima esperienza. Provero' direttamente a prendere l'aereo ed andare a Bolton a vedere che fine ha fatto il mio ordine.
