CGS Table Tennis Centre is an excellent club – it caters for all ages and abilities. There is a friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities (9 tables). Tuition is sometimes available to help players improve. This may enable juniors and adults to join local leagues, if they want. However, the main aim of the club is to provide a place for everyone to enjoy playing table tennis. My children - Elizabeth and Matthew love the experience.

Would definitely recommend to visit this friendly and well run club, open to all ages my son is 8, he has really enjoyed accessing a practice with likeminded people. He has improved and even had one to one coaching, which really took his play to another level.

Absolutely fantastic venue, organisation and people of all ages and levels attending AND approachable for a session I started playing again after nearly 30 years and have never enjoyed it more And it is relatively cheap to join in... I only wish it happened on a different day, ideally in addition to the Friday session. Keep up Chandra, Luke and Jon!

My son enjoys the coaching at CGS so much, he looks forward to the sessions all week! The coaching team is excellent, and Luke is a fantastic organizer when it comes to participating in multiple tournaments over weekends.! 5 stars for a truly first class facility!!

The facility is definitely 5 stars, lots of tables and balls. The organisation, I'm afraid, is 0 stars. I went twice, felt like Johnny-no-mates standing round like a lemon waiting for someone to play against. Seems more like a practice session for local league players who know each other, and for the people who run it to get money for offering one-to-one coaching, rather than the drop-in session for all levels of players that it's described as. Although, I believe, the coaching cost is attractively low, I won't be going back until they reorganise to make the sessions more welcoming and better organised for new people.
