DO NOT STAY HERE (Rated 1 star because 0 stars isnt an option) I booked two nights as a solo camper, arriving by bicycle. But never actually stayed because I was 20 mins late arriving. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that because I was late I would not be allowed on site and, furthermore, because I had "failed to show up" I would not be eligible a refund. The online booking system is a joke. If you don't have a vehicle registration number (tricky with a bike) you have to book by phone. I never received any communication from the club to confirm my booking. I repeatedly left voicemail messages to ask what happens if I am late arriving (this sometimes happens as a cycle tourer)? I never had any replies. When I eventually spoke to a member of staff to explain I may be a little late, I was simply told to "go and read the rules." Left high and dry I ended up forking out £160 for 1 night in a hotel and had to scrap the last day of my holiday. In this day and age, it is not acceptable to treat anyone like this. Regardless of whether I am male, female, cyclist, caravan owner, motorhome owner... We should expect basic levels of "customer service" that doesn't simply throw you on the street while pocketing your money. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else that might appreciate your custom.

This is a great site with stunning views and great facilities. There is a ring and ride bus station next door and a steam railway that runs from Cheltenham to Broadway. During the day we walked through Prestbury park into town which takes approximately 30 minutes very slow walk enjoying all of the distractions along the way. Evenings where spent enjoying a beer and a BBQ watching paragliders soar through the sky off distant hills - Very relaxing

Staff really friendly....location is what it is.....shower block clean but very cold. No Heating on while having a shower. Understand the energy crisis but should have had some form of heating in the morning for people who were showering. Did report this but next day just as bad
