Too much equipment in a really tight space. Everyone is kissing distance apart from each other. Swimming changing rooms have no locker for your own padlock. You have to pay £1 to use them.

The price for access to both the gym and swimming pool is excellent. The gym's location is convenient, making it easy to stick to my fitness routine. I have noticed that the gym is often busy and there are a few machines that could use an update, especially the ones for those who are starting

Ok facilities but there's workplace harassment that's allowed here and aggressive action in front of kids. I emailed the manager Mike and heared nothing about the reports.  I witnessed a very unpleasant situation by a staff member named Akin (I believe). He was at the swimming pool shouting at the life guard. This was 5.30pm last Wednesday. I'm in crutches so the life guard bent down to answer my question for literally 3 seconds while still watching the pool and the swim coach/manager Akin started screaming and swearing at him. And violated my person space while very aggressive and threat of violence. Very unacceptable aggressive behaviour especially in front of kids... I suggested the life guard report this bullying and workplace harassment to authorities and governing bodies. Very shocking this is allowed.

Good location, convenient though gym layout can be improved. Only 1 x training bike in the gym area albeit a smaller room packed with training bikes. Staff friendly welcoming.

I have been using the pool here for a number of years now. The staff are friendly and helpful. The changing facilities are quite simple, but for central London, the price is reasonable and I can use any nationwide centre for a swim which is a bonus. Perhaps the pool itself could have a bit of a clean.

Having made a formal complaint which was ignored I'll leave a review here - this gym is awful. There is a staff member who leads fitness classes who is rude and unprofessional but the organisation seem to protect her from repercussions. She arrived 15 minutes late to a class and then ignored us with her back turned for another 5 minutes. When I left at this point she called me rude. At another visit I saw a staff member arguing with a customer who was in tears after this instructor insulted her. She's absolutely foul and shouldn't be in a customer facing position. Aside from this, the yoga classes are very good, but this does redeem this horrendous location.

I've been to the centre a handful of times and (all fool me) something dodgy, sloppy and/or unprofessional has happened on each occasion. The first time, I turned up at 10am to attend a fitness class and the centre, which should have opened at 8am, still wasn't open due to the duty manager going AWOL (most likely hungover) to which the hordes of waiting customers were told that we would have to wait until 11am for another key holder to turn up. This was despite another manager showing up but apparently not having access to a key. The second time I attended another class and the instructor turned up 15 minutes late and didn't offer an apology or explanation ("she's always late" tutted another class-goer). On my third visit, I went to another fitness class and another instructor didn't start the class until ten minutes after the scheduled time. After this class, I went to the ladies changing room, where I saw some random bloke nosing around the room, looking inside lockers and having a general poke around, as if he was looking for things to potentially steal. When he saw me he simply said "you alright?" then casually strolled out of the changing room. At first I assumed he must be a staff member, but on reflection of the event, he wasn't wearing a uniform or name badge and didn't identify himself as being a member of staff. Then again, I do wonder if he actually was, given the sloppy nature of Chelsea Sports Centre and their staff's "no sods given" attitude. Nevertheless, I would implore the centre's management (the ones who actually bother showing up to work) to review this incident and tighten up measures around the ladies' changing room.
