Only gave a 1 star as I can't leave it blank! Phoned up as I had 2 major warning lights come on, refused to book car in as they are possibly changing dealership in August. Trying to book in in June. Person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, it is no wonder that the Hyundai dealership keeps closing in Chelmsford.

I lease a Hyundai and will never do again. The car is decent but the after sales service is horrendous. I’ve put off all my family and friends. I was emailed saying I needed an air con recharge so I booked it in. Whilst there I asked for Sat nav to be updated and there was a defect with a door handle. When I picked up the car all they had done was the Sat nav update. Then Refused to do the aircon. The member of staff was rude and disinterested. They didn’t look at the door handle. I asked to see the ‘manager’ and he took some photos on his phone and said he’d contact me in a couple of weeks which he never did. Tried to book a service online, when it came to the day nobody turned up to collect my car. When I called they told me there was a 2 month wait on servicing. Their phones weren’t working properly. I tried to add things to look at on the service and they just said to tell them when I drop the car off. Pretty sure they won’t care. I have a family member who bought a car there and they said the service was so bad they nearly walked out also.

I have just recently bought a touscan from the above garage. I have mobility issues so choosing a car was not straightforward. I had already tried different makes and models. A friend recomended Hyundra - As soon as i sat in the car in the chelmsford showroom i was immediately impressed with the large cabin and the outer design of the car The car had a lot of uptodate technology that i hadnt tried before But thanks to my the Salesman Mark he reassured me that he could guide me through set up - and he did. I had every confidence in his ability to do so - and was also very impressed by the showroom and the personal involvement of the sales manager - he told me that he was always available for help if Mark was not around. 5 star service.
