I feel really bad for the public reputation this company seems to have on Google and Trust Pilot - while I can understand people's frustration, they clearly got demolished by covid, which was tough for any small business, and clearly not their fault. I love Cheesegeek's subscriptions, enthusiasm and the customer support is excellent. I can't fault it. Something in my heart told me to go with these guys when I was shopping for a cheese subscription, and I am really happy I did.

Over priced. Pretentious. You can shop it cheaper elsewhere

Failed to deliver last Christmas, but I accepted their apologies as they said their workforce was struck by COVID. They have just failed to deliver my brother's Christmas order, and my Christmas order is missing cheeses. Good website, good cheeses but unreliable when it counts unfortunately.

Order planned as gift cancelled by cheesegeek without prior notification shortly before Christmas. No explanation given, had to ask for one, and was then told hadn't been ready for courier to collect

Boring cheese at an extortionate price. Deeply disappointed by my first Cheesegeek subscription box (the Jimi). Was really looking forward to it, but the cheese it contained was sooo boring! A cheddar. A Lancashire. A brie. A Stilton. Three of the cheeses I received are available in my local farm shop, at - quite literally - half the price. I’ve cancelled my subscription and wouldn’t recommend this company unless you have deeply conservative taste in cheese and even deeper pockets. Oh, and it arrived late, too.

So disappointed to have had a bad experience with this company that has so much promise. I was gifted a three month cheese subscription by a friend, month one was fine. Month two there was some confusion with delivery but this was fixed (whilst not completely satisfactorily). Then when the second box was received there was blue cheese in it, which I had specifically requested not to receive. When I emailed the company they told me that I had in fact NOT selected the option to exclude blue cheese. This is wholly untrue and now I am unclear as to whether I need to specify each month whether I still dislike blue cheese. I was really looking forward to this monthly indulgence but unfortunately it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. EDITED TO ADD: Cheesegeek did not send me an extra cheese, they sent some crackers and a small pot of red onion chutney. Valued at much less than the wasted piece of cheese.

Bought the ultimate cheese and wine experience for a birthday present. Just the right amount of both for 4 tasters to savour, with excellent notes on flavours and pairings (even down to leave/eat the rind). Beautifully presented, arrived on time and thoroughly enjoyed.
