Stayed for 3 nights in our motorhome. The hosts were very welcoming.loved the animals here, all rescued. Got a little tour of the place and was able to feed some animals.10 minute walk to bus stop which takes you to York. Other places to stay here like a cottage and a quirky cabin. Your fee helps to care for these animals. A lovely little break.

Brilliant time took 2 kids 9 and 11 and they both loved it from getting on site gary and tracy took time to show us to our spot guiding us on, showed the kids around the animals spent time feeding them and making us feel at home. Kids were safe as the site was enclosed so they could be left to read and spend time with the animals. The site is clean and tidy and like a sun trap. Plenty to visit around the site with a pub and restaurant within walking distance aswell as a shop and chip shop. Gutted to be coming home cant wait to get back and play a spot of golf next time. Thanks for a great time for the family

Very friendly welcome. Isobel is a very hard worker and can tell she loves the animals. Also very friendly lovely young lady. It was quite and personal not over crowded. And nice you could use a fire pit. Could do with a bit of a spring clean the animals water and declutter as a bit over the top for me. Also I was worried about a peice of wood with nail in donkeys paddock . Enjoyed my stay.
