Went for appointment last month, without any reason, delayed 45 minutes from 15.55 pm to 16.40 pm , by the time to see consultant, was too late to check after the eye drop, unable to see the back of the eye and the consultant didn't booked any follow up, awful service. They don't care at all.

Terrible place, very unprofessional… my mum’s cataract operation failed , haven’t even seen the dr once after it failed, they just made the money from the procedure and now have washed their hands … stay away from this place !

I was seen after waiting only 8 to 10 minutes. I saw a Lady clinician with excellent job skills. My eyes were tested reading the letter board and then on a machine. I didn't need any eye spray but booked a cab to take me home . In all I was in and out of the clinic in around 40 minutes. A very comfortable appointment with very skilled staff. Michael Power. I am not too happy with my visit, first of all I had to wait for my appointment for several weeks or so. When the dr called me in, he just check my eyes with the same machine as they checked in specsavers, and he put me for further investigation, I've finished just less then 5 mins. I think this is not right, just wasted my time to go in, as the dr in specsavers told me the same information. I think this was absolutely useless.

Appointment was 4pm on a Friday and a sunny day, I was contacted by staff to come to an earlier appointment, they had slots available midday through to 4pm. I stuck to my 4pm and when arrived I was seen too the eye care assistant rushed through the pictures of my eye and the peripheral vision test, he only advised me how to do the test when he had already had done it on one eye. I was told I might have glaucoma though I had to speak to a consultant at my next appointment. When I asked is that bad He also went on to say yes your results are bad the machine is accurate if it’s bad it’s bad. He clearly had no patient care skills nor did he understand my question, and most of all he was not in a position to provide an assessment since he was not a qualified consultant. Nevertheless I will attend another Chec clinic and request the test to be completed again. The two other issues noted: Pushy staff wanting to go home and amend appointment on the day. 2- I was shocked how many available slots on the day they have but to book it online or phone it’s a 6week wait.
