What an absolutely fascinating building, the restoration and preservation completed by Heritage trust is first class, the grounds and garden are stunning and the volunteer guides provide a wealth if knowledge. The cafe is welcoming and the selection they offer will cater for all. I can't wait until the restaurant opens later in the year. I can highly recommend a visit.b

Had a lovely trip here. We went for breakfast at the newly opened cafe. Have to say it was a bit disappointing. The furniture didn't seem in keeping with the age and style of the building and there was nothing that would have indicated it was linked to Glynn Purnell. Food choices very limited. Had a sausage sandwich. Was.nice but nothing special. Flat white was nice but overpriced. Had a walk round the charterhouse which was a great experience. Lots of history, well presented.
