Wanted to transfer a isa to them, tried 3 times to call them to ask them a question and after 15 to 20 minutes on each call the call was ended, so if thats the level of service I will go elsewhere.

One of the most unethical banks I've ever come across. No cooling off period on bonds. Won't honour new interest rate on website even though my account has been funded less than a week! Customer services were unhelpful and rude. They just don't care for providing good service. Ask to speak to a manager and that isn't good enough. The website is clunky and so basic. Also the deposits are painfully slow and take average of 1-2 days where as other savings banks can update deposits within 2 hours. The setup info is very limited. I was made aware my min balance had to be £5k but nothing in the welcome literature advises customers the amount for any single transfer/deposit is £5k so my first payment went missing for nearly a week with no communication from this bank that it had been rejected. I actually think this is THE most money grabbing shady organisation who once grab your funds will do whatever they can to not let go of them. Several other providers offer Colling off periods on bonds. This company offers no product transfer or cooling off period that any reputable bank offers. Account openers beware you have no right to change your mind when it comes to charter savings bank. Modern day mafia. Makes me ashamed to say I'm from Wolverhampton and this is how my home town bank is representing people from Wolverhampton.

Tried to open an account for my mother in laws house sale funds, sent all the documents they requested. The documents were returned recorded delivery the next day. Heard nothing for two weeks when I enquired what was occurring they claimed they hadn't seen the documents. What a company don't think I will be investing in this bank if they can't keep documents safe what chance of keeping the money safe
