We recently had a stable block installed having worked with Clare at Chart Stables through numerous variations as we changed our mind quite a few times!! The stables are perfect and I am sure in no small part to the changes which work really well for us. I have to thank Chart Stables for their patience with me - great customer service from start to finish and a good quality building - our horses couldn't be happier!!

Customer service….there is none! They’re happy to take your money but when issues occur due to their miscalculations they are happy to blame the transport company and the customer for damages that have occurred. The boss is only interested in your money as he basically said as had we asked them to build the stables the damage would not have happened! The owner was responsible for how the stables were loaded. They also failed to tell us upon purchase it would need “significant help” to unload this end. It wasn’t until the transport company contacted us on collection day we were advised this would be the case. We had previously had a fantastic experience from this company under its previous ownership, where the stables were easily unloaded with a manitou in no time at all, we have been going 3 hours now with 4 big men and an appropriate vehicle and only half way through! If I have have known this information I would have gone to another company who actually care about their customers! I certainly will not be a returning customer and would not recommend them to anyone else.

If you’re ordering for self build - this is not a company I would recommend. Disappointing to say the least. If no stars was an option that would be the choice. Patronising and worse than poor in their customer service communications. New owner clearly only interested if the stables are being erected by his company as stated “had you paid the extra 20% we would have fitted them for you”. As a client we were guided by the supplier as they supposedly have the experience after years of manufacturing. Having spent over £30,000 once the load was on the lorry they were keen to wash their hands of any issues which had been caused by the loading instructions insisted upon by the owner. If you’re ordering for self build - this is not a company I would recommend.

After having some timber framed buildings erected by a well known sussex based company only to be later disappointed with leaking roofs and clumsy construction by poorly equipped workers we did quite a bit of research inspecting more closely manufacturers timber building displays before choosing chart Stables for this major project. From start to finish the communication with the company was good, the product was better, the fitters were very well equipped and resourceful overcoming some bricklaying issues and we have been left with a fantastic looking building that looks robust and well designed and we could not be happier. and by the way I am a time served carpenter and joiner

This is the fourth purchase we have made with Chart stables and as usual they delivered a quality product with excellent customer service. The install team were a delight and turned up exactly when they said they would. Quite an achievement when you consider the journey from Kent to Cambridge.
