Let me start by saying this review is way overdue. Samir and Saffina are quite simply the best in their field and my wife and I have had the privilege of being long term patients for years now and would not go anywhere else. The quality of work is just exceptional and they are both, just the most likeable, caring people and I cannot recommend this dental practice enough. A special mention also to Felicity who is just fantastic and I would not want anyone else taking care of my oral hygiene, thank you, you are amazing!

I was referred to Saffina Nanji at Charminster House Dental Practice by my dentist for specialist gum treatment. I am really happy with the treatment that I have received at Charminster House and it has resolved the issues that I was having. Saffina put me at ease straight away and explained her treatment plan to me completely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Saffina Nanji at Charminster House and would return to her for further treatment myself if necessary.

I would like to advise anyone using this dental practice to get a second opinion before undergoing any treatment. I used to use this practice and on my last visit was advised that I required a filling and apparently we (the dentist & me) had discussed the need for a filling before? I could not remember this discussion and certainly didn’t feel that I needed a filling, certainly not at £300? I found a new dentist and had a full check-up including X-rays as a new patient - no mention of needing a filling? I have since moved house and had to find another new dentist. Again a full check including X-rays - still no mention or indication of the need for any filling? I do not believe that these two dentists can both be wrong compared to Charminster?? Please be warned!

I signed up with this dentist a couple of weeks ago to get a composite filling done. The practice is very clean, welcoming and has friendly faces. Aside this, I was very upset at the way the practice formulates costs. All the prices I could see on the website are from amounts and not fixed rates. I was quoted £650, from first consultation to completed filling, which I find eye watering for a general filling cost. I don’t doubt the practice would have done a fantastic job. Sadly the from prices and the concept behind the practice being able to charge what ever they want per job per customer has ruined the experience for me and is a little unsettling. I chose to cancel my filling appointment in respect of this. To wrap it up. If you’re looking for a dentist with fixed rate per type of job prices, this may not be the dentist for you. On the flip side, if you’re looking to be treated in a positively unique manner and don’t mind the the higher than standard area costs, the practice may be right for you. Thank you Calum Gill
