My father spent his last few weeks here on Willow after an awful time in a nursing home that simply did not understand dementia. The contrast in the care and support both my dad and myself received here was enormous. Their care and professionalism was in such contrast to that we had been receiving. All of the staff here do an amazing job. Thank you so much.

An outstanding hospital with a caring incredible team. Our dad was looked after here and the team made the difference. Headed up by Gemma with stars like Fran, Scott and Helen. You can be reassured that they genuinely care about your loved ones.

Spoke to an incredibly unhelpful woman. Was trying to check an appointment. Gave her the name of the person i was supposed to see and she just said “I can’t go off just a first name”, I was never told her surname. didn’t ask for my details or try to find me just tried to get rid of me. Put the phone down feeling humiliated and patronised. You would think that maybe they should employ staff with better people skill when dealing with mental health issues. Completely unacceptable.

Called the switchboard today to ask for a phone number and despite telling them that I needed the number to speak to the department this afternoon they flatly refused. I was told just call back and I will put you through. Whats next a bus driver refusing to drive a bus......

My Mum was in Charlton Lane Willow Ward she was looked after by the staff like she was one of their own. Staff went above and beyond what anyone could wish for. A big thank you to all the staff who made visiting my mum who was late stages of Alzheimer’s more bearable. In addition they looked after myself brother and sister when we visited making sure we were coping with mums condition and they offered an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. Mum passed in April but she went with dignity and respect all down to the fantastic care given.
