Beautiful location. The house was not as I expected at all. It was absolutely charming with a pretty walled garden and a pond. The house had a very homely, comfy feel with lots of interesting and personal touches courtesy of the former famous tennants. The house is well preserved and the staff were very knowledgeable with lots of fascinating stories to tell. My only criticism is that the entrance fee to the house is a bit pricey.
