We recently visited Charlene's for a chocolate making experience as a family of 6, and had SUCH a wonderful time! Richard and Sophie were super knowledgeable and put on a fun, interactive and well planned session for us all. Richard was especially accommodating for my Nan, who relies on her wheelchair, but they went the extra step to make sure she had a brilliant time, with Richard lending her a hand. We each made 3 custom chocolate bars ourselves, with a variety of ingredients to choose from, and of course the results were satisfying to make and incredibly tasty to eat! High quality from start to finish and interesting to see how it's done. Highly recommend!

I tried to leave no stars.. Please don't order chocolates form Charlene's chocolate factory under the Guildbourne in town. The man is honestly a nasty man who has refuses to buy food for his daughter and won't pay child support. Imagine your child ringing you as a dad to ask for a few bits of food as their mum is a little short because HE WONT PAY CHILD SUPPORT FOR MONTHS! And you saying to your daughter, nope. Richard Ruthven, you are absolutely vile! Ironic that you name the shop after your daughter but refuse to support her and continue to get away with it. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just spent a morning here with the kids making chocolate baubles, couldn't have been more fun. It's brilliant to see behind the scenes of how each item is made and during the whole process we felt accommodated, even though it was definitely busy for the owners! Great fun activity. Would highly recommend this business, the skill that goes into making the items in the shop is exceptional! Thank you guys for a great day. 👍

My wife bought some amazing chocolates from here for my 50th birthday dinner. There were personalised chocolate lollies for each person there and I had a giant 50th medallion made of chocolate. The guests loved the lollies and said it made them feel like little kids again. The medallion was gorgeous.
