I very recently accompanied a friend to view, test and subsequently buy a 911 (997) turbo from Chappel Sports cars. I’ve owned six 911s of various generations, from 964 through to 991, and I think I’m pretty familiar with their maintenance and quirks, I’ve also experienced varying degrees of customer service provided by official Porsche Centres and well-known independents. I have to say that I was really impressed with Keir Chapel’s knowledge of 911s, with the standard of presentation of my friend’s new 997 (including the thorough servicing and detailing that was done) and his really informative approach to handing over the car and briefing it’s new owner. While not a cheap purchase(far from it in fact) I do believe my pal got value for money, including a warranty that looks comparable to that of an official Approved Used Porsche.

I recently bought my used Porsche Cayenne from Chappell Sports Cars - I’m absolutely delighted with the car which was immaculate and drives like new, but also with experience of dealing with Kier, the company owner. This purchase was a huge step for me, but from the first call I had with him, through the test drive, the purchase and even subsequently, Kier has been open, honest and helpful - a real delight to deal with and he made this a great experience rather than just a sales transaction!. Despite being a Porsche specialist, you took the time to fully describe the new car, an Audi RS6 Avant, and it was exactly as described – an absolutely magnificent beast of a car!
