I have been to this comic book shop a few times now, and it is a really sweet local shop, filled with comics, it's really accessable, and had lots of different types of comics, with marvel and DC, but also other smaller comics, like the Eagle. They also had a display case full of figurines, and even some prop replica helmets from star wars. The staff were really helpful, and were able to help me with my quire's, and all of the comics were in great condition, and sold in the plastic wrapper and another bag for extra protection. The prices were very reasonable, and definitely affordable for someone who has just started collecting, which was very comforting compared to some of the wild prices online for the same comic. They also offered a free comic book Day, which unfortunately I could not attend but seemed like a really good way to get everyone involved, with something fun to read at the end, from small children, to adults. The only small problem I had was they didn't have many of the first comic books in a series, but all the rest of the series, which was a little annoying, but I was able to buy it online, but would prefer to support local business. All in all, a really great trip, lovely staff, and I will definitely be returning.

Was visiting from across the pond and stumbled across this gem of a comic shop. “Marina?” The shop owner was vibrant and knowledgeable and was very patient with my 11 year old nephew. He now calls it the Marvel shop.

Brilliant place - not only an amazing selection of comics and graphic novels but also the lady who runs this is really passionate about the art work and storyline of what she stocks. Some really good titles here. Definitely worth the trek. The square this is in can be easy to miss from the main road.
