I've used Chantry vets for several years, having 3 dogs who have all needed treatment at various times. Can't recommend them highly enough, they have been brilliant with me and my pets. Last Thursday I had to have my beloved Buddy pts after 2 years of him having arthritis,he'd just had enough. The way they handled the euthanasia was brilliant from start to finish we were all treated with respect, dignity and understanding. I had my autistic child with me and I was worried she may become distressed but the sensitive way the whole thing was handled made it the best experience under the circumstances. Everyone I've dealt with is professional but friendly. I'm not sure of the lady vets name who did the procedure but she's the one who's mainly treated Buddy's arthritis and she's been great throughout. And Jess and Ruth are fantastic too. Thanks to everyone.

Would not recommend this vets. Over charged me and they admitted to this and now I’m fighting for my refund. The vets are constantly rushed & it’s not a nice experience when you want to ask for advice. There attitude skinks and are unwilling to solve disputes. The bad reviews on social media regarding this practice are clearly true.

For the second year in a row I have turned up today for a pre-arranged annual vaccination appointment to be told there wasn’t a vet available. The receptionist told me I should have been told the appointment had been cancelled, I went through my call list with her at the time she said I should have been contacted and showed her no such contact attempt had been made, I also showed her the appointment reminder text message I received at 10am this morning to remind me of my appointment, something I obviously would not have received had the appointment been cancelled. I was told the appointment should not have been put in the diary as they do procedures after 3pm and then offered me an alternative appointment later in the week at 6:10pm which completely contradicted her previous statement. I declined the alternative appointment as I have absolutely no confidence that Chantry vets will actually have a vet available to see me and my pet and I am absolutely fed up of being messed around by them. This clearly isn’t an isolated incident as it’s the second time in two years I have been messed around like this by Chantry Vets when booking what should be a straight forward vaccination appointment.
