I have been hunting down a decent cider for years. I found this: An authentic English cider, made with English apples and with a subtle fizz and a crisp, dry (perfectly dry), 'biscuit-ey' YUMMINESS. We drank it, as advised, from our champagne flutes and it made a very welcome alternative to Prosecco (etc). This was my birthday treat to myself. Here is the magical part. As we sat in our garden enjoying our Chalkdown, a tiny blue butterfly (pictured, sitting on the edge of the hot tub) joined us. It was a boiling hot day and it was exhausted and needed water which it drank gratefully. It then rested with us for the rest of the day. I have never seen a blue butterfly in our garden (in the middle of a city) before! Did it travel up with the bottles I wonder?!? Customers, I bought 6 bottles online, very speedy delivery. Thank you, Chalkdown, I will be ordering more!
