Do not use this company, their customer service is poor and their response to repeated emails is nil. If you want to buy chickens do yourself a favour and buy from the British Hen Welfare Trust, their hens last longer and produce more eggs and that's a sad indictment of Chalk Hill.

We would to thank Nick for our lovely chickens we have been coming here for more than six years and would not go anywhere else. We would also like to thank him for all the sound advice over the years. Mike and Anne

Owner asked me to remove bad review because it was 'damaging' to the company. The thing that's damaging to the company is not the internet, it's not Facebook (as claimed), it's the fact that the aftercare is terrible, getting in touch with them is impossible, they sell you hens that either don't lay or die on you after two days, and then fail to follow through on the promise of a refund, ignoring all phone calls, texts and emails. Avoid at all costs, complete con.
