Overall had a great day at Chalybeate Trout Fishery today. It started off very tough, especially after losing a couple early on. However, come afternoon the lake was on fire. I ended the day, with a proud catch of 4 very tough fighting Rainbow trout. All caught on flies tied by my grandad. But, easily could've ended up with 8-10. If only I had fully concentrated. Nothing, but high praise for this fishery in Kent, owner Jim is a top fella and very helpful.

Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful stillwater tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Owner Jim is very passionate about his water and has vast knowledge of what is happening from day to day. Very hard fighting fish and some of the takes can very explosive. Well worth a visit.
