CFBL is absolutely fantastic, the quality of teaching and the focus on children's wellbeing is second to none. Our kids have been going to the school for years, and absolutely love going to school, which says it all! They both came from an English school and quickly picked up French, and they are both bilingual now. It's sad to read bad reviews from other people whose children actually don't go to school, and have reviewed based on poor comms before admission. The new person dealing with admissions is really professional and I am sure would deal with queries really timely As per another review by an alumnus, it's really sad to hear. I trust that a similar situation would be handled most compassionately and supportively by the current headteacher and the school's team. ❤️

We applied for our son for petite section in 2020 for entry in sept 2022 and have never received any update or answer from them even after chasing. We have been receiving updates starting from May 2022 saying that our son is still on the waiting list to finally say that he has not been accepted (After 2 years of wait !) and that we need to reapply for Moyenne section entry 2023 which we did. They opened registrations for sept 2023 on 4th of october at 12 - we were literally on the website and registered him on that day at 12:15. We AGAIN received a rejection email in November. This is unbelievable and beyond my understanding ! surely not all the places are taken by priority from others - our son is also French and deserves the french education we wanted for him , he also lives close to the school and has been applying amongst the first. The admission process is not transparent at all.

We are very happy with the school. It was hard to get in and they are working on admission process to be less frustrating . However Once in. It is an excellent school where you really feel children are at the heart of everything . Marjorie Lacassagne and her team of excellent teachers is responsive and available. The maternelle and primaire classes are very well managed. We would recommend this school to any bilingual family. It has also a very international population with parents from all over the world. Lovely atmosphere with lovely families.
