I spent a week in Clé in Tours in August and it was a terrific experience. Everything about it was great: the location (Tours, France), the school itself and especially the teachers, was perfect. There were just 5 of us in the group which allowed for high quality tuition; I appreciated it as I am a much older student and I hadn't taken language classes prior to this. There was plenty of variety in the course material and several options were on offer to attend interesting workshops. All of the staff in Clé (Tours) were helpful, patient, encouraging and welcoming. There is not one thing negative to say about it! Thanks to everyone involved I'm happy to have improved my French significantly after just 1 week here. For good measure Tours is a beautiful city and a pleasure to be in for a summer week.

The course in Siena was very good. In a classic ambience very professional teachers gave me insight of the grammar of the Italian language. After two weeks I was even thinking in Italian, not perfect but quite understandable. Now it’s up to me to further memorise and exercise the lessons. I certainly intend to have a follow up in the near future!

I just finished two weeks in their Salamanca Spanish School staying at a residence and I loved it. Though I was hesitant at first I'm glad my parents convinced me to go. The morning classes helped me greatly improve my writing and speaking in Spanish and the afternoon activities were very fun. The only bad side was that the residence would get hot at times.

Katherine at CESA Languages was by far the most helpful, personable and well-informed person I came across when looking into summer language camps in France. My daughter ended up going to the France Langue 16-17 year old course in Biarritz for a week and had a great time. From her point of view she met some lovely students, had a good teacher and stayed with a nice host family who looked out for her. However, there was an unfortunate and rather big downside which was that she only spoke French in her lessons and English the rest of the time because this was the language all the other kids (and staff!) used once they stepped out of the classroom. Consequently, her French didn't improve a great deal! Although I am sure it is very difficult for the school to determine young people's behaviour, perhaps staff could do more in terms of sending out a higher expectation of speaking French, including always speaking French themselves.
