    I am a self-taught weightlifter who started weightlifting around 3 1/2 months ago, so I was in desperate need of some coaching and expertise. I found CLWC through instagram, and after exchanging messages they were extremely happy to have me attend the Saturday sessions they run. The coaches (Alexandra and Connor) are fantastic, they're genuinely nice people with a passion for Oly Lifting and want to help others to achieve their Oly lifting potential! Despite only having one session so far at CLWC, I've hit a clean and jerk PB and had some really useful feedback for my snatch technique. Having had a bad experience with some other oly lifters who weren't bothered to help me, it was really refreshing to meet Alexandra and Connor (and the other lifters) as they want to help you and they believe in you! The club is extremely accessible by public transport, it's a 5 minute walk from Temple and Holborn train stations. It's great to finally be in a Oly lifting environment with like-minded individuals, and after the sessions there are socials E.G/ going out for food! This gives a really good community vibe to the club and allows you to get to know the other lifters and the coaches on a more personal level. The club has recently opened, so whether you're a beginner lifter or advanced, I'd definitely recommend that you visit! Great things are in store for this club and I am looking forward to seeing how much I can progress here!

    Great experience being coached at a very central and easy to get to venue with decent equipment and a water fountain! Both beginners with no experience in olympic lifting and those with experience are handled with utmost professionalism and care with precise attention given to the snatch and clean and jerk movements in particular and also programming. The team loves the sport and cares a lot for each person that attends the training sessions. 10/10. As an individual who has been a member of a few different weightlifting clubs, this one stands out for me the most so far due to the coaching level and team atmosphere, everyone has a similar drive and mindset to learn and develop their lifting, pushing for competition even, and to have fun. Make sure to bring appropriate lifting attire though, as it does get hot in the gym during summer!
