I don't agree with other reviews, they have always listen to me and haven't tried to rush me or push their way, they are a calming voice when I call screaming and crying my lungs out, and just to talk with them about anything makes it a little bit better. These guys go through so much without getting much in return, at least they deserve some gratitude

I have been advised to call the Samaritans throughout my life 100 times if I'm not feeling well. However I've never done so *once* in decades as I've not wanted to burden the Samaritans. I tried to call them 6 months ago and despite hanging on half an hour three times they didn't pick up the call. I tried four times again throughout today and once again they didn't pick up any call no matter how long I hung on - twice I waited for an hour. These jerks have made me MORE distressed than I was. Complete and utter waste of time. This organisation is just a PR exercise to satisfy egos of smug, useless narcissists who think they are doing good but in reality making people feel MUCH WORSE.
