I live in Windermere but have used the Ambleside Health Centre since I lived briefly in Ambleside in 1979. Mine and my family"s experience has always been that they were better than any of the Windermere practices, and after I married, my wife transfered to Ambleside after feeling let down by the Windermere practice she initially registered with.

I was only in Ambleside for a short while, but I registered to this surgery after expecting to stay for longer. The care I received at the Health Centre was exemplary, and I found the staff, along with my Doctor, to be extremely compassionate and empathetic, to an extent I hadn’t experienced in my native country, Wales. There was no judgement, and I actually feel that my appointments in Ambleside sparked a positive change in my life despite returning to Wales, in regards to an ongoing health condition. Much thanks to the staff and my Doctor, especially. :)

Im a long term ex patient of ambleside surgery. The ambleside drs saved my life on more then one significant occasion. In my experience The regular drs in ambleside are the best in cumbria because they are the most genuinely respectful ,professional ,heartful human beings I've met. That's what the world needs to grow more of. kindness matters in every part of care and life.
