Security staff at this store way too zealous on a recent visit to Cotteridge Co-op. As a paying customer I deeply resent one security person pacing up and down right behind me whilst I was at the check-out PAYING FOR MY GOODS... I showed him my receipt and said I objected to being treated with such unpleasant, over-the-top suspicion. As I was leaving the store and to my utter astonishment, a second security individual then challenged me to show him the receipt both he and his equally over-zealous colleague SAW me pick up at the check-out when I paid for my purchases. I waved this person away and left the store wondering how the Co-op can justify paying customers being treated little better than criminals...I won't be shopping at this store again.

The service here isn't great but better now there are self service tills and the service from the staff on the tills us poor. I am sorry to say but most times I find them slow and often chatting even to each other even when there is a queue. I don't feel important as a customer.
