Quite a few of us queuing, and no one was using the card only self-service. J added why one of the machines couldn't accept cash. Apparently, it would cost too much. The customers can stand around and wait, then?

I have had to change my rating for this building because as others have said, it used to be fantastic. Now there are staff members that aren't there or you can't seem to get familiar with because staff turnover is so high, your almost choked to death by this scan and pay by card thing and the levels of stock are all over the place. I don't know what's happened, but it's changed so much for the worst since my first review.

Used to be great to shop here & I popped in most days, not sure what's happened but nowadays there's hardly any staff about & you're encouraged to scan & pay by card which I don't want to do. Also stock levels not brilliant. I suppose because they get loads of schoolkids in they're not too bothered about other folk, such a shame.

The machine ate my card so after going in and explaining this to a particular member of staff, he couldn't apologise more and tried to contact the company who owned the machine. He then gave me his companies details and said that I had to get in touch with my own bank which I did and thankfully 3 days later my new card arrived. Just want to say THANKYOU very much to the Acting Manager ELLIS who not only did his job perfectly, he did it with kindness and dignity and put the customers needs first
