A fantastic family experience. Every person we met was helpful and knowledgeable. My children absolutely loved it. The learning spaces were brilliant. Interesting and diverse activities for all ages and abilities. My children loved the drumming sessions and I really enjoyed the pre history session. We have already booked our next visit!

Really excellent Easter day out with 4 kids aged 4-9. We did a treasure trail, some clay work, made a dream catcher, built a den, took part in a drumming workshop, and listened to a talk on prehistoric tools. All for £12.50 each! Will definitely go again. Most surprising thing was that we hadn’t heard more about it before.

Coach driver just stay in the cold, no toilet or facilities to warm up or have a hot drink, even if it's paid. Need to drive elsewhere

Wow what a trip! We have had an amazing time this year on this trip. Our Stone Age Experience day was jam packed with lots of fun things and had the children excited to learn everything they could about the Stone age. This fully supported and deepened the understanding they had already gain in class and this trip just brough it to life! with the grinding grain to make flour then making dough; making wadded fences; listening to stories in the round house around the fire; experiencing beacker clay making; making soap arrows the children were able to take home and that was only some of the things! In the indoor centre was also great as the walls and displays hooked in the children even more. Shout out to our fab guide "Craide" he made it all the more fun and still remember your name! Defo booking next year!

Our family of 4 spent a week end at Celtic Harmony Camp in August 2022. It was a 3 day / 2 nights trip and I was dreading to go. The programme sounded absolutely fantastic and I knew the kids would love it. The perspective of not having a bathroom has put me in the wrong mindset. Upon arrival, I discovered they actually had showers and toilets (with running water) for everybody here who is still wondering and they were built at Easter this year. Now that’s been said, I had an absolutely fantastic time. We only were 2 families on site that week end which was a blessing. Kids were about the same ages (ours are 9 and 6) and enjoyed the outdoors. The round house was quite large for the 4 of us. The beds were confortable. Towels were provided on request. What I particularly appreciated is that we could take our time to do the activities. There was no rush whatsoever which made it very enjoyable. Each morning when I read the schedule, I was wondering how on earth we could do all of the things on paper. And we did, with spare time on top. I can’t recommend this place enough. Mason (who can climb really high in trees - be aware if you play hide and seek with him - plays music and is a talented archer) and Ben (who will tell you all about birds, bats, Beaker pots and more…) are both passionate about the era and history in general and will transport you to another time. It was so interesting. They taught us so many things, how to start a fire (from wood only), I did my first archery lessons, went on a bat walk, built a den, had lots of fun playing hide and seek, attempted to make an arrow head (this is really hard), learned what a hurdy gurdy is and played percussions (thanks Mike and Mason from Here Be Flagons). Last thanks to Jake who cooked for us and Alex who watched the camp at night. If you’re looking for a place where you can be outdoors (no screens there, there a couple of sockets in the round houses to charge phones), connect with nature, getting to know how Stone Age people lived and Celtic tribes battled (among other things), bond with your family, this is the place to go. Had an amazing day on Easter Sunday. Staff are so friendly and helpful. My son enjoyed making his clay dragon egg and Brighid eye along with doing the dragon egg hunt where he had to work out the clues to get the answer. Food was made fresh on the day and was really tasty. The drumming circle was so much fun, and probably the most interactive thing of the whole experience there. Would certainly go again and definitely recommend my friends to visit

This is the first time we have been here and really enjoyed their Easter themed activities that were linked into the camp. My children and I enjoyed the whole day, from the information sharing to the story telling. The staff were also all fab and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend!
