    Absolute shambles. Ordered 2 2016 wines one engraved and one not. Received the bottle quickly and we’ll packaged but the wine sent was a 2018. Called immediately and spoke to James, he apologised but offered absolutely ridiculous options: a 10% (successively went to 15%) discount on my next order, or an option to send back the non engraved one and have this replaced with a 2017. First of all - who would want to re order from a company after they mess up your first order? Second, I’d be obviously in the complete right of returning the engraved one as well, for refund! After I expressed my disagreement with James he’d offered me the option of a free 2017 (as the advertised 2016 was no more in stock!). They didn’t have 2 2017 as I wanted. For the sake of it I accepted the free bottle with the conditions of this being next day delivery and arriving the following day. James agreed, I asked for a confirmation email, he said he’d send it immediately, this was not sent. I had to chase up as the bottle obviously was not with me 24hr later. He apologised saying that they cannot control Royal Mail (then use a different courier) and confirmed they did use the next day delivery option - the bottle arrived one day later and in fact, as suspected, no next day delivery option was used but instead a 48hr tracked which is simply not good enough. First and last time- appalling service. Let’s make sure things are well specified, you messed up an order. -On our initial call you clearly specified 10%(then 15%) discount on NEXT order - and I clearly showed my disinterest on re ordering from you. On your email you then said “15% discount offered in your order” and not 15% refund on your current order. You did not offer a full return for refund on both bottle, you only did in the non engraved one. I then had to remind you that due to you mistake this would be in my complete right. - you promised next day delivery and email upon dispatch. No email was sent. Service used was tracked 48!!!! Not next day delivery, so, blaming Royal Mail is simply a joke - see attached pic. - at no point I said I was happy. I would have been happy with the bottle AND next day delivery, and this was clearly specified by me on our phone call. I emailed about it, and received no reply. Now that you are trying to make yourself look good by lying is simply very embarrassing.

    I have just had a delivery of what should have been 2 bottle of wine. 1 was broken the other ok. The packaging could have been packed tighter and boxed up in a Smaller box. This was a present to me via Canada. Not too impressed. I wish to add 2 days later , I had a wonderful surprise of 2 bottles of wine to match the original order. Cellar Wines had packed these better. Nice they were too.Thank you Cellar Wines.
