Sylvie was extremely easy to work with, and was a wonderfully calm and reassuring presence on the day. We had a few ideas for what we wanted to include, but we probably weren’t the easiest couple as we felt awkward with some of the common story-telling in ceremonies. Sylvie happily worked with us, and let us provide lots of feedback and edits to her drafts so that the result was just perfect for us. We would thoroughly recommend Sylvie to any couple.

Our wedding celebration was a wonderful day in our garden with the sun shining and included ring warming, sand blending and lighting a unity candle. Sylvia's role in the celebration was essential and unsurpassable and many of the 135 wedding guests said that it was the happiest and most relaxed wedding celebration they'd ever been to. Sylvia did an amazing job for our wedding in September. She was fantastic throughout, so thoughtful and very easy to speak to and get along with. The whole process was very personal, and me and my husband loved how many personal details were included in the ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, Sylvia really did an amazing job and so many guests commented on how brilliant the ceremony was! We were also provided with a lovely print out of the ceremony, including a certificate and a print out of the reading. Thank you Sylvia for doing such an amazing job!

From the off she really put us at ease, ensuring that we were totally aware of all the options and chatting through how the ceremony could run. She was really flexible and easy to communicate with too. The ceremony she delivered at our wedding was beautiful - it really captured both of us, and the story of our relationship, and was both meaningful, moving and fun (in the right places!) We got so much great feedback about the day, with people saying the ceremonies was one of the best they'd been to - I would not hesitate to recommend Sylvia, or hire her again!

When I started looking for a celebrant for our wedding, I knew very little about the process. I found Sylvie’s page online and reached out, she was very quick to get back to me and explained all about what she, as a celebrant, does. We met Sylvie in person not long after this and we knew right from the start she was the one we wanted to marry us. She is extremely professional but so kind, caring and honest. She helped guide us through our perfect day! She kept us updated throughout the process and nothing was ever any trouble. On the day everything went so perfectly, but I knew that even if there had of been any pre wedding hiccups I could trust Sylvie to go that extra mile to help. We felt like we had a friend marry us, rather than someone we had only “just” met. Everyone commented on how beautiful and personable the ceremony was and how well it suited us as a couple. Sylvia was exactly what we were after our ceremony - You get a really personalised, and well thought-through script that's carried out calmly and without fuss by a lovely, friendly and personable presenter. In addition to what we thought about the ceremony, our guests really enjoyed it too, the sentiment generally being that it was refreshing, over that of the same non-specific blurb that they'd heard over and over in other ceremonies. My grandad in particular found it very touching. Given this was our first (and hopefully only..) wedding, you don't really know what to expect, and that's one of the reasons I think Sylvia was so good - Every time we met up to have a chat about what was going to happen, we left those meetings with confidence that it was going to all be fine and without fuss - Which when you've got so much else going on already, is really important. I'm not even sure how I found Sylvia, but it was obvious after the first meeting that she was exactly what we were after, I think before we'd even got back in the car we'd decided to give the nod. Sylvia came out to our local pub at times that likely suited us much more than her, which we really appreciated - From those meetings and a few emails we were able to iron out all of what we needed over cups of tea. Sylvia really helped guide us through what to expect on the day and was more than willing to make adjustments to the final script, though there were very few required as she'd really listened to what we'd said and written in the questionnaire that kicked it all off. We would highly recommend Sylvia as she really was excellent, thank you so much.

5 Stars isn't enough for this Lady. When I first found Sylvia just by a google search we were in a bit of a difficult situation due to covid and hadn't explored what having a celebrant meant so I reached out to Sylvia explained the situation and she called straight away and put my mind at ease. We then met and discussed what we wanted from the wedding and how the day would work. We instantly felt this was the right discussion and booked her. We had several meetings discussing the day and planning the ceremony and she even came out of her way to do a rehearsal for us. The ceremony was so personal she listened to everything we said which meant the world to us. We cannot thank you enough for being there on our big day and making it something we will never forget. We even received a beautiful box with a print out of our full ceremony, reading and certificate which was a lovely touch. we would HIGHLY recommend Sylvia to anyone she really went above and beyond.

Sylvie conducted our wedding this August Bank Holiday Weekend and I can’t recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for a celebrant. Sylvie exudes a special kind of warmth and loveliness which confirmed from the moment we met her that she was the right person for our wedding. The wording of wedding blessing was so beautifully written it was beyond my expectations. So many of our friends and family commented on how lovely and special it was.
