My family have been using Cedars since 2007, and I have continued to use Cedars since moving. My previous cat was always cautious around men, but he always ADORED Mark. Always came back chilled and never had a stressful vets trip. I now take my little rescue Bluey here, and after another great and easy trip today, I’ve got a very chilled cat at home! All the team are so lovely and accommodating and Always very welcoming and friendly; I couldn’t fault them at all. Mark especially goes above and beyond to help our furry friends. He even found some fascinating information about my cat’s heterochromia, and helped me with finding her a good sunblock for her white ears and nose in the summer months. I wouldn’t dream of taking my pets anywhere else! Thank you Cedar Ferndown for your excellent service as always!

Wonderful staff. When my beloved dog was put to sleep, they couldn't have been more caring.

Lovely receptionist friendly and warm unlike the vet who was the complete opposite. He showed no bedside manner and came across as arrogant. I left after 5 minutes in discussed, where he continued to argue with me in the reception, unbelievable. I contacted the Ringwood practice who were professional and perfect ( no egos here) and diagnosed the issue with my dog. After 40 years of dog ownership I’ve never experienced any vet like this. Stay clear.

We have been clients of Cedar for almost 20 years. When we had our first dog we couldn't fault them but recently things have changed dramatically. The staff and most of the vets are great but let down by individuals. For example our dog is diabetic and requires daily injections of insulin. We arranged to pick up her repeat prescription at ferndown and got there to find they had forgotten about the syringes/needles also required. It is also getting increasingly difficult to get hold of people at the ferndown clinic, which I no doubt they will put down to Covid. My advice to anyone looking for a vets is to do some proper research before registering, you'll be glad you did if you require a good reliable one.
