Our children are incredible fond of him asking for piano lessons when they return home for weekends. And that's because Cliff not only taught them piano. I came to Cliff about a year ago, having never played piano before, and not reading music for over twenty years. Cliff put me at ease and has always taken the lessons at my pace. I can’t believe how much I have achieved since I started, and we’re already considering taking grades. I really look forward to our weekly lessons, I consider them the highlight of my week. For any adult considering taking up an instrument, I can’t recommend Cliff highly enough for reintroducing this life skill.

Both of my children have been under Cliff's careful guidance and tuition for several years now. I really have nothing but good things to say about Cliff but the standout elements are not only how competent he is but also how he engages with the children (patient, understanding, encouraging and kind) and how he makes playing and learning the piano fun for them. They very much enjoy their lessons and have improved immensely since moving from tuition at school to Cliff. I must also mention Cliff's warm demeanour and great sense of humour. I cannot recommend Cliff highly enough for annual looking for a great tutor for their kids.

My son has been having piano lessons with Cliff for 10 months now. Cliff is a very relaxed teacher with a good sense of humour and my son always enjoys his lessons. We wanted him to learn without the pressure of exams but just to play for pleasure and Cliff has proved to be very good at encouraging him in this without putting pressure on so that he has gone from being able to bash out one note to playing Vivaldi and Beethoven from memory. Parents be warned: if you can play at all Cliff will have you sitting at the piano showing off your skills too - fortunately the seat is very comfy!
