Cazoo has had our car since December. They have decided it's not viable to fix it (they sold it to us with a mechanical problem). They have said this for the last one month. We are ringing daily to organise our refund but have not heard back from multiple offices. Tried numerous times to raise formal complaints but passed through to managers - then no one is available. We tried to raise formally with resolver - surprise, no response. Absolutely awful customer service and refund process. Disgusted!

Would not recommend buying a car from them. The majority of the cars can’t be viewed prior to purchase which was the case of mine. The pictures provided of any damage or “imperfections” as they put it failed to show two dents/dinks on the car, they get round this by having a policy of not showing damage which isn’t visible from 2 metres away, although in this case it definitely is visible and would change from one person to the next. My personal experience when collecting the car was ruined by the salesman eagerly trying to sell me there warranty. I had to say at-least 10 times that I did not want this. And I couldn’t yet leave as I hadn’t signed the collection document which was on his iPad. Eventually after 10 minutes of refusing the warranty and explaining to him that I knew he was only doing this for merit he gave up. At this point I signed the document and he began handing over the Cazoo goodie bag of freebies claiming “that he was still being nice to me even after I refused his warranty “. As I began walking round to the car to leave he explained that I was the first person this month that had refused his warranty (I collected the car on the last day of the month) so this was clearly a big deal to him. He then walked over to the desk of the showroom shouting to his colleague about how I was the first this month that hadn’t taken his warranty. As I got in the car to leave he told me “in the nicest possible way I hope I never see you again because you didn’t buy my warranty” and laughed as to pass it off as a joke. I didn’t find this funny. Anyway, a couple days after my collection I emailed Cazoo customer service and explained the whole experience in detail, despite them claiming to answer emails within 48 hours I didn’t hear from them for well over a week and sent two follow up emails in that time. Eventually when they replied they said they would contact the Southampton branch regarding the issue, I asked if I could be updated on the outcome, but instead they closed the case number and that was the last I heard of them. Be warned I believe they are very hit and miss when it comes to buying a car. In hindsight I should have probably just refused to take the car in light of these issues but I didn’t so you live and learn. This was my personal experience so that people are aware of what they may need to expect.

Do not buy any car from Cazoo. They are struggling with their poor management and not responding to email, call , etc. They just postpone further and furthet for returning the car without any firm plan and date. You can not get back your refund as they promised. The car was delivered with empty fuel tank. Very poor system and customer service.
