The team was fantastic so quick and thorough. Its great to know that the fifty year old cavity wall ties are still good and that the old, failing, insulation has been replaced. Its a bit of a messy job but the guys told me what to do to minimise the old insulation blowing in through cracks in the walls. Would happily get them in again but I suspect it won't be for another 50 years!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It's rare that I'm compelled to write a review, but felt I needed to warn other businesses & homeowners of this company. I used them because they had good reviews and ended up having their technician shouting at me down the phone on the two occasions he visited to do the work. I had shared plans of the property, had them visit in advance and explained we would remove a wall downstairs after they'd installed insulation. I even contacted them 2 weeks out to double check the wall could be removed without insulation falling out and they confirmed this was fine. On the first visit the technician said there was no way he would do it and it would all fall out. He told me I was lying when I explained the office had advised it would be fine. When I asked if he could just do the front of the house so we could at least re-render and decorate he refused, hung up and left the site. After several weeks they agreed to return to complete the front so we could progress the job, and then the back once the wall had been removed. The girl who'd made the mistake regards insulation falling out was no longer working for them. They wanted £2300 instead of £950 to do two stages, more than double for the same amount of insulation, but two visits, which made no sense but I had to agree due to timescales. They then didn't turn up when agreed, and booked a new date on which they didn't arrive until nearly 4pm! The technician refused to do the work because he'd "been up since 4am". He told me he wouldn't do it in two phases, even after I'd explained that I'd agreed with his office to pay more than double to have it done in two phases and again walked off site. He said "You can't force me to do it". It was honestly mad, never have I had a contractor like it. Was a total embarrassment. The delays lead to water ingress into the customers property as we couldn't render. This damaged their plaster delaying their home decorating and had major cost implications to my company and our other contractors. The office at Cavitech were polite on all occasions but seemed to be at the mercy of this rogue technician. They apologised a lot, but didn't have any resolution whatsoever and were not contactable without several calls / emails each time. I can only assume something has changed within the company to turn it on it's head like this as it can't possibly hold it's 4star rating for long. Have since turned to Slate Cavity Wall Insulation who are exactly what you would want. They turned up, did the job in less than 1hr no problems.

Excellent service. We had cavity insulation removed that had become damp. Cavitech's quote was very reasonable, the work was booked in quickly and the work completed in a few hours. They were very knowledgeable and keen to answer questions and give advice without any pressure all the way through the process. Thoroughly recommend.

Good work carried out by Neil extracting old insulation and a team of installers blowing in eps beads later the same day. Dusty and noisy but that's as expected. All brickwork drill holes made good and airbricks replaced to professional standard. All hosed, brushed down and cleaned as reasonably as practicable, i.e without washing out new pug. We'll just have to hope the new insulation makes a difference. I'd recommend Cavitech.

Cavitech UK removed the Cavity Wall insulation. Turned up early, good site meeting before work to show me what they were going to do and discuss what i wanted, worked relaly hard and quick, no phone calls or sitting around. Job done and site left spot less. Very happy with them, highly recommended

Removed some damp old cavity insulation - worked hard all day and did an excellent job. They were knowledgable and surprisngly passionate about insulation! (Wish we could say the same for the scaffolders but that's another story....)

Fantastic service by the whole team. Always kept me up to date with the booking despite unfortunate events such as a broken van and bad weather. Communication all the way through has been faultless.
