Our first visit and to begin with it went well. I was disgusted when the chap that served my father 5 minutes earlier and took payment then asked him if he was going to leave without paying for the bottle of wine. My Father confirmed he had paid but they didn’t believe him until they scrolled through the till. It was embarrassing and insulting to my father, who is the most honest person. They made excuses saying they had not had lunch or drank any water. That is none of my business how the employees are treated, but how I and my father are treated as customers is. Not sure I would return. Tip to customers, get your wine wrapped and a receipt unless you want to be accused of stealing!!!!

I got an intriguing selection of Portuguese and English red wines from Caviste, including a Touriga National blend and a single variety Baga from Portugal and a single variety Rondo from England. Super friendly and helpful advice. Bill is knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about wine. 5 out of 5 stars!
