SuperMilo’s second chance at life Cave Veterinary Specialists, Wellington I simply cannot find the words to thank all the team at Cave vets enough! 2days into my holiday abroad, I received a text to say that my 3 1/2yr old dog had collapsed and was being taken to the vet. PANIC STATIONS! I didn’t need to be worried, even from such a great distance because he was immediately referred to Cave vets, who liaised with me every step of the way. The professionalism and compassion that I received, reassured me that Milo was in very safe hands. Milo was in an extremely bad way, however, updates BY TELEPHONE were very reassuring, and sensitively handled. In consultation with the vet, it was decided to proceed with treatment and give my little guy a chance. I was grateful for their honesty throughout the process, but my little dog is a fighter and deserved this chance. Very slowly, through our reassuring conversations and dedication of Cave staff, I could see a slight flicker of improvement. On my last day, I felt that he was starting to turn a corner and could relax a little. Every member of staff deserve a huge pat on the back. This morning I picked my little guy up, the lovely vet took time to answer my questions and reassured me about his after care. Yes, he will be on medication for the rest of his life, but without a shadow of a doubt, without Cave, he wouldn’t be here now. This morning he hardly knew me because of his brain injury and certainly didn’t show that he did anyway. By lunch time, my fighter was patting me on my face to tickle him behind his head again, just like he always did. In fact, when I stopped tickling him and asked him what he wanted……,,he repeatedly patted me on my face ……… thank you for Milo’s second chance. Cave, you simply are AMAzING!

Incredible staff, professional, friendly, compassionate. Very high quality facilities and super clean. Easy to get to and lots of space to park. Can't thank Ollie enough for his surgical skills in saving our little cat Mercky, thru a very complex operation. Would highly recommend going here over the local vets, and the local vets are a very high standard.

Jessica is the possibly best & kindest vet I’ve ever met! .Not only did she repair our dogs leg which was broken in two places-she spent time with us explaining everything they were going to do, making us feel totally reassured. We’d got telephone calls twice a day giving us updates which were so appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend Cave vet Specialist.
