Wow wow wow!! I’ve seen a lot of stunning hotels around the world, but The Cave is exceptional. Walking past the hotel’s supercars, the entrance is breathtaking. Vaulted ceilings, full of warmth and character but absolutely charming. Dinner at The Firepit was amazing. The rice was to die for! We then headed to the pool for a late night dip and relaxed in the jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. You can even have your drinks brought to the poolside. Our room was stunning and beautifully appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. No luxury or convenience was overlooked. We ordered breakfast to our room and it was simply perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting The Cave again soon.

Just a perfect getaway. Even having looked at photos, arriving thru the gates and seeing the estate unfold slowly, then walking up to the reception doors to a curtain.... Yes a curtain! Pull it back to be greeted by a breathtaking reception and lounge, with a mix of traditional exposed beams and modern architecture features. The staff know no limits to being helpful, nothing is any trouble, be it at reception or at either of the restaurants or bar. Excellent food, warm indoor pool with sauna and jacuzzi and bar service! If you are looking for a memorable experience you need to try the CAVE

We stayed at this hotel recently, with intent to bring our pooch as it was dog friendly. However it wasn’t very dog friendly as we were not able to actually take our pooch around the hotel and was limited to bedroom only and outside. Therefore we had to last minute make plans for our pooch to board with a dog sitter. This wasn’t ideal. In regards to the actual hotel itself i would say was rather average compared to other hotels i have been to. The intentions are there to be a luxury hotel but it just didnt meet the standards when comparing to others. The hotel room was rather dirty, carpets were filthy, hairdryer didn’t work and we found dirty polish cloth left on the side of our bed. The spa / pool again very average, steam room didn’t work, limited spaces for guest to sit on the side, and the jacuzzi jets worked on one side and the other they were so harsh people couldn’t sit there. As for the food, i have had alot better for the price spent. The koren cowgirl was awful, we had visited the restaurant on our first night and i was not impressed, i felt the menu was not great and the food was below average, we ordered chicken bites which were double battered over-fried and chicken less. We had to send back. The firepit was alot nicer but again for the price we paid i wouldn’t recommend. Overall i wouldn’t come back again, which is a shame as it looked amazing online. As i feel standards need to be reviewed to pitch this as a luxury hotel especially at the price it costs.
