Your staff on the till counter was very rude to me, I am from out of town and was recommended to come for lunch. There was 8 in the group and was told I should have booked, but not knowing the area and what was the procedure . Told to go to the desk were was the desk? I feel this could have be explained a lot polite manner. Got a table felt it was under durest. The food was good. Come to order desserts went to cabinet, they had no explanation of what they were and contained, order the Raspberry and Strawberry Torte and there were nuts in it, one of the party does not eat nuts. Also when we asked what they were we was told I'm to busy getting food out to customers. I feel that the customer service was dreadful and I would not visit Catlows again to be spoken to like that. Modern, large cafe with super friendly staff. Welcoming to cyclists (bonus marks for the recently installed bike racks). Recently added a nice patio area. Great food and quick service at sensible prices.

Very well organised. However unfortunately no home grown veg available anymore which is a shame. No prices up so wasn't sure on price per kg for the strawberries.
