Activities here include an indoor play barn with wavy slide and death slide, gift shop, huge wooden castle play area, shallow lido/paddling pool, mini golf, trampolines and bounce cushions, netted climbing wall, petting "zoo" with rabbits and guinea pigs inc calves and lambs, alpacas, pigs, goats, deer, ducks and chickens you can feed. There is also a boating pond where children if accompanied by an adult can canoe with provided life jackets. Food options are a small snack bar/ice cream outlet and a much larger purpose built cafe. All activities apart from the tractor ride £1.50 are included in the entrance fee. There were some miniature elec cars for smaller kids on a track.. not sure if this was an extra but presume so. There's lots of outdoor seating for picnics and plenty of trees to get some shade. Undercover picnic area is limited. Have not been here for years due to other commitments.. but decided to pop by today with my 11 year old. It was fine for 3-4 hours, but after that she and her friends got bored because it's more geared towards smaller kids. In general though this is a nice farm park. The only criticism I would have is that it does need some TLC.. spotted litter here and there which needs clearing up..toilet block by entrance has seen better days, sign posting as you move away from the entrance area is poor and some of the older areas feel a little bit tired. I remember years ago there was a really nice circular walk, but this seems to have been given over solely to the tractor rides ..which is a shame speaking from an adult's point of view. Huge investment is going on here though with a second indoor play barn in progress. The rest of the park just needs a little bit of general sprucing up so it matches how nice the new buildings are going to be.

I have to say, I never ever write reviews but Cattle Country just get it right. It seems quite pricey but wow you get your moneys worth!! We spent almost 6 hours there with our 3 children (1, 3 and 10) and there was endless things to do for all of them. It’s kept beautifully clean and I’m so impressed by the way they constantly reinvest money in to improving what’s there and offering new things. The new sandpit area is amazing, as was the animal encounters - the baby bunnies were all of our favourites! We will definitely be back this summer.
