We brought our cat saturated in urine and covered in sawdust. He was dirty, fur all clumped up. Two baths later we still can’t get the urine smell out. His plastic toy had chunks of caked sawdust all over so I assume my cat lived on sawdust, peed and slept in the same place. Never again.

We didn't have a good experience. Left our baby here and I called the next day and they had no idea where my cat was - even suggesting I left her at another cattery. After crying for a while, it was cleared up and the owner did send me pictures of my baby. I do understand that I dropped off my cat out of normal hours (which is ONE HOUR) and they didn't 'put her in the system' but it does go to show how little they care or know about the cats they are supposed to be taking care of. I really don't think that's an excuse to lose my cat. I was very shook. We were also not told we were required to pick her up specifically between 9-10am and were charged for two extra days. I very much felt like they didn't even take her favourite toy out of the bag to give her comfort. She was very stressed when she returned and I feel very awful. I know most people would say she's 'just a cat' but she's my only baby and I am just really sad with how this all played out. She's also torn the living daylights out of her carrier case which implies to me that she was left in there for at least some significant amount of time. I personally think she was dumped in that case in a back room somewhere, and forgotten about until I called the next day. I feel like the worst person in the world and should have seen the red flags when I was refused access to the facilities to see where the cats were kept. There is definitely some kind of dementia going on with at least one of the owners so I would really think carefully before taking your baby here. They misspelled my extremely common name and wrote down "tabby" instead of "tortishelle" when it's extremely obvious she is not. Definitely extremely concerning and if you care about your cat do NOT take them here, but more than likely they will survive

My cat was covered with dry feces who knows for how long. She was stressed because couldn’t clean herself. Took her to Vet; found out that she lost weight while she was in the cattery. I would not recommend this place at all.

Amazing cattery! I wouldn't hesitate to book my cat into Cats Whiskers for my next holiday. Chantal's place is very clean and homely and her attention to detail and cat knowledge was very reassuring. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a holiday home for their cat.
